Accreditation

1. Began in 2007 as Gaba Bible Institute
2. June 2010 – Gaba Bible Institute was issued with provisional License by NCHE to operate as a tertiary institution.
3. September 2010 – Gaba Bible Institute changed location from Gaba to a newly purchased 23 acre campus in Buloba.
4. in 2011 – Gaba Bible Institute changed name to Africa Renewal Christian College after shifting from Gaba to buloba.
5. December 20th 2013, Africa Renewal University was issued with License as a private University.
6. 25th Janaury 2023, NCHE cleared Africa Renewal university for grant of a charter

Africa Renewal University is also a correspondent member of the Accrediting Council for Theological Education in Africa, which promotes quality evangelical theological education in Africa by providing supporting services, facilitating academic recognition, and fostering continental and intercontinental cooperation.
